June 29, 2007

Weight: 153

OK so I ate horribly yesterday. I was a bit more inspired today to eat better. I left for work early enough to restock my desk at work with food.

Breakfast: Wheaties, milk, and brown sugar

At work: 2 handfuls of dates, box of raisins, handful of shredded wheat

After work: Boneless pork sirloin cooked on the George Foreman, 1.75 servings of brown rice, spinach and fat free ranch dressing, and two Nutty Bars (one package).

June 28, 2007

Weight: 153

At work: Decaf with french vanilla creamer; convenience store size bag of Sun Chips; Arby's Reuben sandwich, and curly fries

After work: V8 juice and 3 chicken tenders

June 27, 2007

Weight: 154

Breakfast: Wheaties, milk, and brown sugar

At work: Box of raisins, Curves bar, handful of almonds, can of pineapple/orange/banana juice, another Alberton's roast beef wrap

June 26, 2007 - Trying is the first step toward failure day

Weight: 153.5

I don't have the patience for weight loss. The weight will all come back anyway, and it's not like anyone notices a ten pound swing. Nobody has told me I look like a cow. Unless I develop health reasons to have a low cholesterol, low sodium, low fat diet, I'm just going to eat when I'm hungry and whatever sounds good. Life is too short to avoid egg rolls and fried rice.

Breakfast: 2 frozen waffles and orange juice

At work: Box of raisins, handful of almonds, Curves peanut & chocolate bar, Albertson's roast beef wrap -- a new addiction

Evening: Egg Roll Street -- Sweet & Sour pork, fried rice, and an egg roll!

Monday, June 25, 2007

June 25, 2007

Weight: 153.5 (fatty, fatty, fat, fat -- yes another Simpsons quote)

Breakfast: Raisin bran, milk, and brown sugar. Excellent.

At work: Box of raisins, handful of almonds, small can of orange, pineapple, banana juice

Dinner: Wolf Brand turkey chili with a leftover cut up hot dog. What would Freud say about my love of hot dogs? Or that I like to cut them up in my chili? V8 juice and a handful of pretzels.

Exercise: Mile walk during lunch (the last 1/4 of it was during a downpour) and about 15 minutes on the elliptical trainer after work.

June 24, 2007

Weight: 153

Breakfast: Tony's Pouch. Also some coffee with creamer at church.

Lunch: 3 slices of frozen cheese pizza and a handful of baked cheetos; glass of orange juice.

Dinner: Here's where it gets fun....FOUR light hot dogs on heart-healthy buns. Some V8 juice.

My soul felt better after mindlessly stuffing food in my face whilst watching TV. I easily could have eaten four more.

June 23, 2007

Weight: 152.5

Still pretty much eating whatever/whenever I want. I somehow didn't buy one of the packages of fried chicken that Wal-Mart had setting right beside the checkout stands. It was more a statement of how I felt so obviously marketed to -- buying something that smells incredibly wonderful right by the checkout stands is exactly what they would want me to do. I'm not a sheep.

Breakfast: Leftover cheeseburger macaroni and orange juice

Afternoon: 2 bowls of Baked Doritos mixed with pretzels and a bowl of Baked Cheetos

Evening: Two servings of Stouffer's Lasagna. And some Spicy V8.

June 22, 2007 -- Still not caring

Weight: 153.5

Breakfast: Slice of leftover pizza and breadstick

At work: Decaf with French Vanilla creamer, handful of dates, roast beef sandwich from Albertson's (only part of it -- the cheese was nasty and the lettuce was wilted, i'm still kind of throwing up a little bit in my mind from the cheese - the roast beef and bread were okay)

After work: bowl of cheeseburger macaroni and a bowl of hamburger stroganoff

Friday, June 22, 2007

June 21, 2007 - The day I just stopped caring

June 16, 2007

Weight: 152

Breakfast: Frozen bean & cheese burrito and orange juice

I gave blood this morning! Had a package of Grandma's Chocolate on Chocolate cookie action, plus a can of OJ.

Ran some other errands and looked around at Gardner's used books for a while. The next stop was Steak n' Shake. Mushroom & Swiss Burger, Fries, and a small bowl of chili. Good stuff.

Afternoon: Yet another glass of OJ. Can one get too much vitamin C? At least one study shows it can rust your body. A story like that's gotta be true.

Evening: Cream in a "basically decaf" coffee(according to chick who made it) at Nordaggio's Coffee in Owasso. We listened to Scott's guitar gig. Nicely done.

Thursday, June 14, 2007

June 14, 2007

Weight: 152

Breakfast: Frozen bean and cheese burrito

At work: Usual Thursday morning decaf with french vanilla creamer and a box of raisins. It was birthday treat day at work, so I had small pieces of chocolate merengue, apple, cherry, and caramel apple. Very small. Like less than actual serving size small.

After work: Finally finished off the Blandest Meatloaf Ever, with a healthy topping of BBQ sauce. Next time, more tomato sauce and no milk.

Exercise: Two mile walk at lunch and Bowflex this evening.

Wednesday, June 13, 2007

June 13, 2007

Weight: 151.5

Breakfast: Frozen El Monterrey Bean & Cheese burrito

At work: Handful of dates (those things are like candy!), box of raisins, pineapple orange banana juice (no vodka, Karen - thanks for asking - even though we both know this is the best mixer for it)

Late lunch: It was raining for the second day in a row at lunch. I ate Long John Silvers. Three chicken planks, four hushpuppies, cole slaw, and fries. It was a rational decision.

Dinner: A very small portion of meatloaf.

Tuesday, June 12, 2007

June 12, 2007

Weight: 151.5 (a three week low!)

Breakfast: A Patio frozen burrito

Dinner: Meatloaf (about 1/4 of the loaf that was made with 2.25 lbs of ground sirloin). Good stuff.

Exercise: Bowflex.

I need to add some variety to this.....I'd like to see some recipes that have ten or fewer ingredients and can be put together very inexpensively on a per meal basis. All of the recipes I have seen lately are very exotic and look like they would take hours to prepare. If only they made healthy Ramen or Hamburger Helper.....

Day 16 - June 6, 2007

Weight: 153.5

When am I going to see rewards here? I'm toying with the idea of just eating horribly again....Sonic, Egg Roll Express, etc. I'll stick with it a while longer....I guess not being malnourished is its own benefit. My calf muscles are getting strong and my biceps are bulky - I'll need to get a permit to carry these guns :-)

Day 11 - June 1, 2007

Weight: Unknown

Breakfast: 2 Pillsbury Splenda Sweetened Cinnamon rolls (only 110 calories each!)

Lunch: Chinese Buffet with Dad. Too many items to mention, but my stomach wasn't feeling all that great so I didn't really each that much. Highlights include an egg roll, some fried rice, several Broccoli X (where X = variety of meat) dishes, and some egg drop soup.

I took a walk around the neighborhood before lunch.

Weight: 152.5

Busy couple of days. I'm pretty sure I remember it all though.....I am OCD after all.

Breakfast: Box of raisins

At work: Quik Trip decaf with some French Vanilla creamer, 2 servings of All Bran garlic crackers, handful of shredded wheat, 10 oz. of orange juice

After work: Daddy Shank came to visit. I made some hamburgers on the George Foreman grill. I had a 1/3 lb. (precooked weight) cheeseburger with a heart healthy bun, two handfuls of Baked Ruffles, two handfuls of Baked Cheetos, and about two servings of Blue Bunny No Sugar Added Peanut Butter Fudge ice cream.

Lots of food for dinner, but I very much needed it at the time. Rough day -- had to meet two plumbers at my house to deal with a drainage issue. Blew my lunch hour finding out the first guy couldn't do anything and then Mullins Plumbing (home of "The Red Rooter"!) showed up right on cue while I was taking the first bite of my burger.
