Exercise: Some housework and shopping. I attempted to use the elliptical but the Tivo wouldn't work from there due to Emerson's exersaucer being in the way....and then Emerson started crying when I moved the exersaucer, and it was too hot to walk outside. Better luck tomorrow.
Meat Omelet, Toast, and Fruit at Duffy's (which is much better than my usual choice of Biscuits and Gravy and Hash Browns as sides - I don't feel so icky afterwards)
Creamer in coffee
A few handfuls of Reese's Pieces that I bought last week and have been in the fridge ever since
Salad consisting of an iceberg lettuce mix, lowfat ranch dressing, olives, and croutons
Apple juice
Frozen burrito

Return of the Flog
This week has been life-changing for me.
Dad's in the hospital recovering from quadruple bypass surgery. After seeing the pain he was in at the hospital before the surgery, plus the pain he is in now after surgery, and the long road of recovery ahead, I have had my come-to-Jesus moment. With my paternal grandparents both suffering from heart problems and now my dad, I'm at huge risk for coronary artery disease myself. My daughter is too. I want to both spare her from the logistics of having a sick mother and set a better example.
I treat my body better than the generations before me, but I still have a lot of room for improvement. I need to get off my butt and exercise. I need to stop stopping at Braum's for sausage biscuits in the morning.
I can't promise I'll write every day but I'll see what I can do.
Weight: 157
Exercise: Exercise bike for 15 minutes or so
2 Frozen Waffles (sans butter and syrup)
Little box of raisins
Chocolate slim fast snack bar
Some non dairy creamer for coffee
Fiber One bar
Little bag of pretzels
Frozen burrito
Apple juice

Food EVERYWHERE
It is not until I was stricken with what seems to be neverending nausea that I noticed how pervasive food is. Its images and smells are inescapable.
I almost throw up every time I go to the grocery store, because the smell of fried chicken is pumped strategically through the store. I thought I was kidding about this until my gag reflex allowed me to pay closer attention. At the Wal-Mart neighborhood market, the smell of fried chicken is actually stronger just outside the store than it is right next to the chicken. I'm guessing it's supposed to draw you into the store with the thought of "hey, man, buy some chicken". To me, all it says is "I hope you have a mop and bucket pretty close to the entrance".
Commercials are also bad -- I have to turn my head away from the TV during commercial breaks because I never know when I'm going to be hit with the image of a fatty hamburger with visible grease bubbles on it, or some nasty ass sandwich from Arby's.
If we have to stick with this food theme, why aren't there more commercials for Cheerio's, PB and J, Applesauce, and Popsicles? Food that has no aroma and more grams of fiber than grams of fat....
I could easily see myself becoming a vegetarian. I haven't eaten any meat in almost a week, and I was really forcing myself to eat that.
Good day.

Why I quit flogging myself
Weight: 149.5
So I went and got myself knocked up. Thus, I am no longer obsessed with losing weight. Having no appetite and throwing up throughout most of July and early August has taken care of that for me. I hope you all can understand that thinking about what I was eating throughout the day was not helping. I just wanted everyone to know that I'm not a failure, off somewhere weighing 250 pounds now and eating Chinese buffets every day.
Thankfully I have stopped losing weight, but I should be gaining weight this week. I drink Gatorade and other things that I can keep down. I snack on cheerios all day and popsicles in the evening. I wish I could eat healthy stuff like grilled chicken and salads, but it doesn't sound appealing at all. In fact, all meats sound nasty. 99% of all foods sound nasty.
Dr. appt. next week - maybe they'll hook me up with a protein IV drip.
